The three days revolve around a broad thematic task, sent to you six weeks in advance. These give inspiration and direction for your autonomous practice before the weekend, without being in any way prescriptive. The theme and your response to it will provide a chance for you to ask questions of yourself and your work, creating a dialogue between you, your tutor and the group. This enables you to reflect on your artistic development during your time on the programme and in the intervening months spent working independently.
